It runs 5 to 177W on the GENE TT 2.0 chip through the UFORCE-X tank and PnP X coils, covering a tight mouth-to-lung (MTL, a cigarette-like draw) or a full direct-to-lung (DTL) cloud depending on the coil you fit. A built-in battery evaluation system reads the health of each cell, and an Eco mode stretches the last few percent when you are nowhere near a plug.

Pick Your Inhale — MTL, RDL or DTL

The Drag 5 covers more draw styles than most big mods, because the PnP X range spans tight to airy:

• MTL (tight, cigarette-like): fit a 0.6Ω PnP X coil, airflow nearly closed, on 50/50 e-liquid.
• RDL (in between): the 0.3Ω coil around 32–40W.
• DTL (open, big clouds): the 0.15Ω coil at 60–80W with airflow open.

Start low and raise the wattage to taste; the printed coil ratings run hot.

Buy quality cells and an external charger once, and running cost drops to coils plus e-liquid, far below the price of disposables. Never carry loose batteries in a pocket with keys or coins.

Compatibility & Refills

The UFORCE-X tank takes the whole PnP X coil range and sits on any 510 mod. Slide the top cap to fill. To change a coil, empty the tank, unscrew the base and push the new coil in. Prime it and wait 10 minutes before the first puff to avoid a burnt hit.

Does the Drag 5 come with batteries?

No. It needs two 18650 batteries, sold separately. Use a matched, married pair from the same brand and charge them together for the best life and safety.

Which 18650 batteries should I use?

A pair of quality 18650s from a known cell brand, ideally 20A or higher, kept as a dedicated married pair. An external charger is worth having so you can rotate a charged spare set.

Is the Drag 5 MTL or DTL?

Both. The 0.15Ω and 0.3Ω coils give an RDL to DTL lung hit; fit a 0.6Ω PnP X coil with airflow nearly closed for a tighter MTL draw on 50/50 liquid.

What does the battery evaluation system do?

It reads the health of your cells and shows on screen when one is ageing, so you can replace a tired battery before it affects performance or safety.

Does it use the same coils as the Drag 6?

Yes. Both use PnP X coils, so coils and the UFORCE-X tank carry across the two devices.
