Overview
UK TFV9 tanks ship with a 2ml straight glass — TPD compliance. The tank itself is capable of holding 6.5ml, but getting there requires two things: the bubble glass and this chimney adaptor. The glass is the obvious part. The adaptor is what most people forget to order.
It fits into the internal chimney of the TFV9 EU tank and extends it upward to meet the taller bubble glass. Without it, the glass won't seal. The tank will leak, the draw will be off, and you'll end up frustrated. With it, everything lines up as it should — the tank holds 6.5ml and behaves exactly as a full-capacity TFV9 should.
Coil compatibility doesn't change. Smok TFV9 mesh coils, Smok TFV8 Baby coils, Vaporesso GT Core coils — all still work once the adaptor is in place. Nothing about the vaping experience changes. You just stop filling the tank every twenty minutes.

Key Benefits

No tools needed to fit it. Slot it onto the existing chimney, drop the glass over the top, reseal the tank. Five minutes at most.
Coil compatibility stays the same throughout. Doesn't matter which coil you're running — TFV9, Baby Beast, GT Core — none of that changes.
Worth picking up at the same time as the glass rather than realising afterwards you need it separately. At £1.50 it's not exactly a considered purchase.
Setup
- Empty and disassemble the TFV9 EU tank
- Slide the chimney adaptor onto the existing internal chimney
- Fit the bubble glass around the adaptor — it should sit flush with no gaps
- Reassemble and fill through the top as normal
- Prime the coil if it's new, then vape
The bubble glass is sold separately and is not included with this adaptor.

FAQs
Is the bubble glass included? No, just the adaptor. The TFV9 bubble glass needs to be bought separately.
Why can't I just swap the glass without this? The bubble glass is taller than the standard glass. The internal chimney needs to be extended to match it — otherwise there's no proper seal and the tank leaks. This adaptor is that extension.
Will my coils still work? Yes. TFV9, TFV8 Baby, and Vaporesso GT Core coils are all compatible after fitting.
Does it fit the non-EU TFV9? No. The non-EU version comes with the larger glass already fitted, so there's nothing to extend.
Is it hard to fit? Not at all. It slots over the chimney and the glass sits on top. No tools, no real effort.
