Oreco Comet Pro Pod Kit Price Offer

Oreco Comet Pro Pod Kit

Oreco Comet Pro Pod Kit: refillable MTL and RDL pod kit, 2300mAh battery, 5 to 30W, 2ml pods, £29.99. Best for ex-disposable users who want a full day per charge. Not ideal for cloud chasers or anyone who wants a screen.

🔥 Why Vapers Are Switching: The 2300mAh battery is the standout feature. Most pod kits at this price carry 900 to 1200mAh, so it roughly doubles the time between charges. Verified buyers on UK retail sites back that up: over half the charge left after a heavy day, and one owner reported 31% battery after two days of solid use.

Key Facts

  • The Oreco Comet Pro has a 2300mAh built-in battery, the largest in the Oreco range.
  • The Oreco Comet Pro outputs 5 to 30W of adjustable power.
  • The Oreco Comet Pro uses 2ml refillable pods in 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω.
  • The Oreco Comet Pro fires by auto-draw or by button and charges over USB-C.
  • Oreco Comet Pro replacement pods cost £4.99 for two at Vape Online Store.

The Oreco Comet Pro Pod Kit is built around one number: 2300mAh. It suits switchers from disposables who want a tight, cigarette-like draw (MTL, mouth-to-lung) with nic salts, and the 0.4Ω pod opens it up to a looser RDL draw (restricted direct lung). Versus the OXVA Xlim Pro, the Comet Pro costs around £11 more but carries more than twice the battery.

Key Specs Customers Check

🔋 2300mAh Built-In Battery A full day for heavy vapers, two days for lighter use. The largest battery in the Oreco range — most pod kits at this price carry 900-1200mAh, so it roughly doubles the time between charges. Verified buyers report over 50% left after a heavy day.
⚡ 5 to 30W Adjustable Power Low for a cool nic salt draw, high for warmer vapour on the 0.4Ω pod. Adjustable wattage gives you the flexibility to change your draw style without needing a new device.
💧 2ml Pod Capacity (UK TPD) Roughly one refill a day at average use. A clear liquid window shows when the pod needs topping up, which helps prevent dry hits and protects the coil from burning prematurely.
🔥 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω Mesh Pods 0.6Ω for MTL, 0.4Ω for RDL; the coil is built into the pod. No separate coil heads to buy, fit, or prime. When flavour fades, you swap the whole pod.
💨 Auto-Draw and Button Activation Draw like a disposable, or press for a consistent hit. Dual activation mode gives you the best of both worlds — familiar for switchers, precise for experienced vapers.
🌬️ Top Airflow, Leak-Resistant Air enters above the e-liquid, so the pod does not weep in a pocket. Compared with many traditional bottom-airflow systems, this design provides greater protection against spills.
🔌 USB-C with Passthrough Vape while charging. The integrated battery means no external cells to buy, replace or maintain. USB-C ensures fast and efficient recharging.
🏗️ Premium Metal Construction The latest Comet Pro features an upgraded metal exterior in a sleek finish. Its smooth, dark finish creates a modern and refined appearance without looking overly bold. The metal construction provides a reassuring and durable feel in the hand.
📱 No Screen — Simple Control Power is adjusted on the device without a display. This keeps the device simple and pocket-friendly. If you want a screen and can accept a smaller battery, the Oreco Model X is the alternative.

Oreco Comet Pro Pod Kit Inhale

Pick Your Inhale: MTL or RDL

MTL means vapour into the mouth first, then the lungs, like a cigarette. RDL is a looser half-lung draw with more vapour. The pod you fit decides which.

💨 0.6Ω Pod, 15 to 22W: MTL Tighter, cooler, best with 10mg or 20mg nic salts. Start here if leaving disposables. The tighter draw closely replicates the feel of a traditional cigarette, making the switch feel natural.
💨 0.4Ω Pod, 22 to 30W: RDL Buyers describe a slightly looser draw with the same flavour. Pair with 5mg or 10mg salts or 50/50 freebase. More vapour and warmth without going into full sub-ohm territory.
💡 Start Low and Work Up: Start at 15W for the 0.6Ω or 22W for the 0.4Ω, then go up 1 to 2W until the flavour peaks. The Comet Pro's adjustable wattage lets you fine-tune your vape to match your preference. Lower wattages deliver a smoother, tighter draw — ideal for nicotine salts. Higher wattages increase warmth and vapour production — better suited for freebase e-liquids.

Pods and E-Liquid Pairing

Both pods are designed for 50/50 e-liquid and nic salts. Thick 70/30 shortfill wicks slowly and causes dry hits; if you must, use it only in the 0.4Ω pod at 25W plus.

Smoking Habit Nicotine Strength Pod Wattage
Heavy smoker (20+/day) 20mg nic salt 0.6Ω 15 to 18W
Moderate smoker (10-20/day) 10mg nic salt Either pod 15 to 22W (0.6Ω) or 22 to 25W (0.4Ω)
Light smoker or cutting down 5mg salt or 6mg 50/50 freebase 0.4Ω 22 to 28W

Every 10ml nic salt on VOS works in this kit, and the 5 for £10 e-liquid deal keeps weekly costs down.

⚠️ E-Liquid Warning: Use 50/50 or higher-PG liquids (including nic salts). Thick 70VG/30PG shortfill will wick slowly and cause dry hits, especially on the 0.6Ω pod. If you want to use high-VG liquid, stick to the 0.4Ω pod at 25W+.

Battery Life, Pod Life and Running Cost

🔋 Battery Life A full day for heavy vapers, two days for lighter use. Verified UK buyers report over 50% left after a heavy day and 31% after two days. The 2300mAh capacity is the standout feature — no other pod kit at this price comes close.
🔥 Pod Life One to two weeks on 50/50 nic salts. Sweet liquids and high power shorten that. Change the pod when flavour goes flat or the draw tightens. Sweetener shortens pod life more than nicotine strength does.
💷 Weekly Cost Around £4.50 a week — one pod (£2.50) plus a 10ml bottle on the 5 for £10 deal (£2). Compare that to a 600-puff disposable a day at £30 to £40 a week, and the Comet Pro pays for itself in the first week.

Per pod, £2.50 sits between Vaporesso XROS Corex 2.0 pods at £2.25 and OXVA Xlim V2 pods at £3.00.

💷 Cost Per Pod Breakdown: At £4.99 for two pods, each pod costs £2.50. If a pod lasts an average vaper 10 days, that's 25p per day to keep your Comet Pro running. Compare that to disposables at £5 each, and the savings are immediate.

Compatibility and Refills

Only Oreco Comet Pro replacement pods fit this kit. The side-fill 3-pack pods for the Oreco Model X and Model Y are a different fitting and will not seat.

⚠️ Compatibility Check: The Comet Pro uses its own pod system. Model X and Model Y pods do not fit. The 2026 metal-bodied version uses the same pods as the original plastic-bodied Comet Pro, so your pod collection carries over if you upgrade. UK TRPR rules cap refillable pods at 2ml, so VOS stocks the 2ml pods only; the 5ml version sold for other markets is not compliant here.

How to Set Up the Oreco Comet Pro

  1. Charge fully over USB-C before first use.
  2. Fill the pod: Pull the pod out, open the fill plug and fill to just below the top, avoiding the centre chimney. Leave a small air gap to prevent gurgling.
  3. Prime the coil: Close the plug, click the pod in and wait 10 minutes for the cotton to soak. Skipping this is the number one cause of a burnt first pod.
  4. Set the wattage: Set 15W for the 0.6Ω pod or 22W for the 0.4Ω.
  5. Vape: Take a few short auto-draws, then raise the power to taste.
⚠️ Priming is Everything: The 10-minute wait is non-negotiable. Rushing this step is the #1 cause of burnt hits on a new pod. A scorched mesh coil cannot be recovered — it will taste burnt for its entire life. Take the extra few minutes at the start and you'll get a week or more of clean flavour from each pod.

How to Make It Last Longer

  • Refill before the liquid drops below the wicking holes; firing a near-empty pod burns the cotton.
  • Leave 3 to 5 seconds between draws. Chain vaping kills pods early. Give the coil a few seconds to re-saturate.
  • Replace the pod when flavour goes flat or the draw tightens, usually after 10 to 14 days.
  • Stay inside the wattage band for your resistance. Running the 0.6Ω at 30W cooks the coil in days.
  • Store upright and away from heat to prevent leaks.
  • Recycle spent pods with small electricals rather than household waste.

The Oreco Comet Pro Pod Kit is one of the best value pod kits on the market right now for anyone who wants serious battery life in a pocket-friendly device. With a 2300mAh battery (more than double most rivals), 5-30W adjustable power, leak-resistant top airflow, auto-draw and button activation, and a premium metal construction, it delivers everything a beginner or ex-smoker needs without the complexity of a screen or menu system.

Independent reviewers at Ultimate Juice called it "a well-rounded device rather than a rushed release" and said it "stands out as a smart option for anyone wanting dependable performance without stepping into complex mod territory."

At £29.99 from Vape Online Store, the value is genuinely hard to beat. Whether you're upgrading from an older pod, switching from disposables, or just want a reliable daily vape with the biggest battery in its class, the Oreco Comet Pro won't let you down.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the Oreco Comet Pro battery last?

A full day for heavy vapers and about two days for light vapers. Verified UK buyers report over 50% left after a heavy day and 31% after two days. The 2300mAh capacity is the largest in the Oreco range and roughly double most pod kits at this price.

Which pods fit the Comet Pro?

Only Comet Pro pods, in 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω. Oreco Model X and Model Y side-fill pods do not fit. The 2026 metal-bodied version uses the same pods as the original.

What is the difference between the 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω pods?

The 0.6Ω gives a tighter MTL draw at 15 to 22W for 10mg or 20mg salts. The 0.4Ω gives a looser RDL draw at 22 to 30W with more vapour. Buyers report the same flavour on both — the 0.4Ω simply pulls a little looser.

Is it good for switching from disposables?

Yes. Auto-draw works like a disposable; the 0.6Ω pod matches a 20mg bar's tight hit, and running cost drops from £30+ a week to around £4.50. The adjustable wattage means you can fine-tune the vape to match your preference.

Does the Comet Pro leak?

Rarely, because air enters above the e-liquid. Liquid in the mouthpiece usually means overfilling past the chimney or drawing too hard. Wipe the pod, refill to just below the top and draw more gently. The leak-resistant construction helps prevent spills, mess and wasted e-liquid.

Why does my new pod taste burnt?

The cotton was not soaked before the first draw. Fill, wait 10 minutes, start at 15W (0.6Ω) or 22W (0.4Ω). A burnt pod will not recover, so fit a fresh one.

Does the Comet Pro have a screen?

No. Power is adjusted on the device without a display. If you want a screen and can accept a smaller battery, the Oreco Model X is the alternative.

What wattage should I use?

Start at 15W for the 0.6Ω pod or 22W for the 0.4Ω pod. Go up 1 to 2W until the flavour peaks. Lower wattages deliver a smoother, tighter draw — ideal for nicotine salts. Higher wattages increase warmth and vapour production.

What's the best e-liquid for the Comet Pro?

Use 50/50 e-liquid and nic salts on both pods. The 5 for £10 e-liquid deal keeps weekly costs down. Thick 70/30 shortfill wicks slowly and causes dry hits, especially on the 0.6Ω pod.

Is the Oreco Comet Pro TPD compliant?

Yes. The Comet Pro is fully UK TPD compliant — the pods are 2ml and the device is rechargeable. Sold by an authorised UK retailer. Adult use only. 18+.
