Introduction

No coil to change separately. No cotton to re-wick. When the flavour starts going flat or the draw tastes off, the pod goes in the bin and a new one clicks in. That's the logic behind the innokin klypse replacement pods — the coil is built into the pod itself, so maintenance is just swapping the whole thing.

Each pod holds 2ml of e-liquid, filled from the side via a silicone-stoppered port. The magnetic connection to the battery means it seats and removes cleanly — no wobble, no fiddling. Two coil options exist: 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω mesh. Both are MTL. The 0.8Ω is slightly more open, better for 50/50 liquids and lower-strength nic salts. The 1.2Ω is tighter, pairs better with 20mg nic salt for a more concentrated, cigarette-close draw.

Specs

The mesh coil inside each innokin klypse replacement pod heats e-liquid across a wider surface than a wire coil — that's why flavour is more consistent rather than thin and variable draw-to-draw. At constant 3.6V output from the Klypse battery, the coil isn't being pushed hard — which is part of why coil life on these pods is decent for the price. 

PCTG construction on the pod body is more impact-resistant than standard plastic. Doesn't shatter if you drop it before it's even fitted. Small thing, but worth noting.

Filling and Priming Your Pod

Pull the silicone stopper out of the side-fill port — it stays attached, it doesn't come off completely. Fill slowly to the 2ml mark with your chosen e-liquid. Push the stopper back in firmly until it's flush. Then leave the pod sitting for ten minutes before you draw on it.

Ten minutes — not five, not two. The innokin klypse replacement pods use a fixed integrated coil with cotton wicking material that comes completely dry. E-liquid needs time to saturate cotton properly. Draw before it's ready and the heat hits dry or under-saturated wicking. That's a dry hit, and it scorches the cotton. Once cotton's scorched in a fixed-coil pod, there's no fixing it — that flavour is there for the rest of the pod's life.

After priming, click the pod into the device — magnetic connection seats it with an audible click. Then just draw. The Klypse fires on inhale, no button.

One more thing. The side-fill stopper needs to be pushed fully back in before you put the device in a pocket — not halfway, flush. A partially seated stopper leaks. Not catastrophically, but enough to have liquid on your fingers every time you pull it out. Thirty seconds of care when filling sorts that entirely.

Compatibility

The innokin klypse replacement pods are compatible with three devices — the Innokin Klypse, the Innokin Klypse Zip, and the Innokin Klypse Mecha. All three use the same pod format and magnetic connection.

They don't fit the Klypse Pro. That's a different device that uses Klypse 2.0 pods — 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω variants with a different connection. Similar name, different pod entirely. And the Klypse C1 pre-filled pods are also a separate format — those are single-use prefilled cartridges, not the same as these refillable innokin klypse replacement pods. Check the device name on your kit before ordering.

Which Resistance to Choose

Two options. The difference is real and worth picking deliberately rather than just grabbing whichever is in stock.

0.8Ω Mesh — slightly more open draw for MTL. Better for 50/50 e-liquids and lower-strength nic salts, say 10mg or below. Produces a bit more vapour than the 1.2Ω. If you've been on disposables or a loose MTL kit and want something in that territory, start here.

1.2Ω Mesh — tighter draw, closer to a cigarette. Built for 20mg nic salt specifically — the combination of a restrictive draw and high-strength nic salt is what replicates the cigarette experience most closely. Less vapour, more focused nicotine delivery. If you're a recent ex-smoker, this is probably the right pod.
