There's something about the Endura range that just works. Innokin have been making MTL kits for years and they've always had this reputation for reliability that a lot of flashier brands can't quite match. The M18 is their pod system take on that formula. Compact, simple, proper MTL draw. Nothing complicated about it.

At £19.99 it's not the cheapest pod kit on the market, but it's also not trying to be. This is a step above the throwaway starter kits. You're getting a proper 700mAh battery, a removable coil system, adjustable airflow, and a boost mode that most kits at this price don't bother including. Worth knowing if you're comparing options.

What's Actually In The Box

You get the M18 device itself, one replacement pod (2ml capacity), a 1.6 ohm BVC coil already fitted, a USB-C cable, and the manual. Innokin include a spare pod from the off which is a nice touch. Means you're not immediately hunting for accessories before you've even started.

Colour options are Midnight Green, Silver, Purple, and Rose Gold. Midnight Green is the one that photographs really well. The Rose Gold is popular too, though it depends entirely on personal taste.

The Draw

This is a pure MTL kit. If you're coming from smoking or you've been using something like an Elf Bar and want to step up to a refillable system, this is the kind of draw you're going to recognise. Tight, controlled, cigarette-like pull. It's not going to produce clouds. That's the point.

The adjustable airflow lets you tweak how tight that draw is. Innokin have given you a proper range here rather than just "slightly less tight" vs "slightly more tight." You can actually feel the difference. Most vapers who use this kit leave it towards the tighter end but it's good to have the option.

Liquids

The M18 works with 50/50 liquids and high PG blends. That means your 10ml nic salts, your 50/50 shortfills, the Bar Juice style liquids. It doesn't work with high VG liquids. If you've got 

70/30 shortfills sitting around, they'll wick too slowly through this coil and you'll end up with dry hits. Genuinely not worth risking it.

For nic strength, if you're recently switched from cigarettes, 20mg nic salts will keep cravings manageable on a device like this. The 14W output is low enough that it pairs well with higher nic concentrations. If you've been vaping a while and are stepping down, 10mg or even 5mg through a 50/50 liquid works fine.

The Coil Setup

The M18 uses the T18E coil series, which is Innokin's established coil range. That matters for a practical reason: you can find replacements everywhere. The 1.6 ohm BVC (Bottom Vertical Coil) design wicks consistently and delivers good flavour for a pod-style coil.

One thing to know: prime your coil before first use. Fill the pod, leave it for 10 minutes, give it a few dry drags (no button), then start on lower wattage if you're running in manual mode. Skipping this step is the main reason people think coils taste burnt when they're actually just under-saturated. It's fixable, it just takes patience upfront.

Coil life varies depending on what you're vaping. Simple fruit liquids and menthols are kinder to the coil. Heavy sweetened liquids, coffee flavours, dark caramel blends will deposit residue faster. Most people get one to three weeks out of a coil depending on usage and liquid choice.

Battery

700mAh isn't enormous, but for a MTL device at 14W it goes a reasonable distance. Light users will get through the day easily. Heavier vapers who are chain-pulling might need a midday charge. USB-C means it's using the same cable as most modern phones, which is one less thing to carry around.

The inhale activation works cleanly on this kit. No button delay, it fires as you draw. There's also a manual fire button option for those who prefer it.

Who Is This For

Honestly? Smokers switching to vaping who want a refillable kit rather than burning through disposables, and people who already vape on a disposable or closed pod system and want to move to something they can refill themselves. The M18 ticks both boxes. It's light, it's small, the draw is familiar, and the T18E coils being widely available means ongoing costs stay manageable.

It's not a kit for people who want sub-ohm vaping, big clouds, or variable wattage adjustability beyond the fixed boost mode. There's nothing wrong with those preferences, they just need a different type of device.

The size is worth mentioning too. 86.5mm x 30.2mm x 17mm and 56g. It fits in a jeans pocket properly, not just technically. That matters more than spec sheets usually suggest.
