Which E-Liquid to Use

The Caliburn G5 is built for nic salts and 50/50 PG/VG e-liquids. Higher-VG juices can be used but tend to wick more slowly and shorten coil life, while very thin high-PG liquids are more likely to seep. Match your 10ml nic salts to the pod you fit:

• 0.6Ω GPP Alpha pod (best starting point): a tight-to-medium MTL draw that suits most people switching from disposables. Pairs well with 20mg nic salts for a satisfying throat hit. Drop to 10mg if 20mg feels harsh.
• 0.4Ω GPP pod: lower resistance for warmer vapour and a looser RDL or open MTL draw. Best with 10mg salts or a 50/50 freebase, as 20mg can feel strong at this airflow.
• Higher resistance GPP pods (0.8Ω to 1.2Ω, sold separately): the tightest, most cigarette-like MTL draw, ideal for 20mg salts and lower power.

If you are unsure, start with the included 0.6Ω GPP Alpha pod and a fruit or menthol 20mg salt, then adjust strength and airflow from there.

MTL or RDL: Where to Start

For an experience close to a cigarette, close the airflow down and use a higher-resistance pod with a 20mg salt. For more vapour and a softer draw, open the airflow and move to the 0.4Ω pod with a lower strength. FAQ

Why does my Caliburn G5 taste burnt straight away?

Almost always because the pod was not primed. After filling, let it stand for ten minutes before the first vape so the coil soaks through. Avoid vaping a pod once the liquid drops below the minimum line.

Why is my pod leaking?

Leaks usually come from overfilling, using a very high-PG liquid, or drawing too hard. Leave a small air gap when filling, stick to 50/50 or salt e-liquids, and keep the device out of direct heat.

Does it come with a charging cable?

No. The G5 charges over USB-C, but no cable is supplied, so use any standard USB-C lead.

What pods does it use?

The full Caliburn GPP and GPP Alpha pod range, from 0.4Ω to 1.2Ω. The GPP Alpha pods last longer before the flavour drops off.

Is it good for someone coming off disposables?

Yes. Fit the 0.6Ω pod, close the airflow for a tight draw and use a 20mg nic salt to get a familiar feel at a much lower running cost.

How do I refill it?

Lift the silicone plug on the side of the pod with a fingernail, insert your e-liquid nozzle into the fill port, fill to just below the top, then reseal. The plug can be stiff on a brand new pod.
